This Disclaimer applies to all analytics, predictions, win probability models, matchup narratives, Fantasy Spotlight, Rookie Watch reports, ABS Challenge data, and any other analytical content or commentary provided by Cortex Sports Analytics (“Cortex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Veridian Data Analytics. 2. Informational Purpose Only

All content provided through the Cortex Sports Analytics Service is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes gambling advice, betting recommendations, financial advice, or an inducement to place wagers of any kind. Cortex Sports Analytics is an analytics and research platform, not a sportsbook, fantasy sports operator, or financial services provider.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes

All predictions, win probabilities, model outputs, Fantasy Spotlight, and Rookie Watch projections represent statistical interpretations derived from historical data, machine learning models, and publicly available sports data. Sports outcomes are inherently uncertain. No representation is made that any projection will occur, that any forecast is accurate, or that past model performance is indicative of future results. Probability estimates reflect model confidence, not certainty.

4. Third-Party Data

The Service incorporates data from third-party sources including MLB Stats API, Baseball Savant (Statcast), and other publicly available sports data providers. Cortex Sports Analytics does not control these sources and is not responsible for errors, omissions, delays, or inaccuracies originating from them. Data may be subject to revision by the originating source after publication, and our models may not immediately reflect such revisions.

5. Service Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. Scheduled maintenance, pipeline delays, API outages from third-party data providers, or other technical issues may result in predictions being unavailable, delayed, or incomplete for certain dates or games. We are not liable for any decisions made in reliance on content that was unavailable or delayed.

6. User Responsibility

Users assume full and sole responsibility for any decisions made based on Cortex Sports Analytics content, including but not limited to fantasy sports roster decisions, sports wagers, or any other actions taken in connection with sporting events. Cortex Sports Analytics expressly disclaims any responsibility for outcomes resulting from such decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Veridian Data Analytics and its officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including but not limited to gambling losses, fantasy sports losses, financial losses, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Cortex Sports Analytics in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50.00). This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
